At the Pembroke Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service, our team of educators deliver tailored programs that are fun, safe, engaging, inclusive and compliant with all aspects of the National Quality Framework.

YMCA has partnered with the School to ensure that our program extends the School curriculum, reflects the local community's values and captures each child's interest.

YMCA OSHC provides a safe, fun and engaging place for before / after school hours as well as Vacation Care during school holidays. It is available for students from ELC to Year 6.

As a community-based not-for-profit, the YMCA is recognised as a leading provider of OSHC services in South Australia, well known for:

  • Quality Educators: We seek high quality, experienced and passionate Educators who actively contribute to the quality of OSHC programming and an enjoyable experience for students.
  • Child Safety: A minimum of two staff at all times to ensure the safety of staff and children.
  • Child Enjoyment: YMCA OSHC has the right mix of physical activity, social interaction and recreational activities, keeping kids wanting to come back.
  • Fresh Food: We source fresh and nutritious food from within the community using markets and other local food sources.

Following the National Quality Framework, educators provide children with a supportive and stimulating environment which includes activities such as:

  • Sports and outdoor activities
  • Healthy eating and cooking.
  • Creative arts projects.
  • Music, dance and drama experiences.
  • Dedicated homework assistance.
  • Excursions into the local community.
