Pembroke seeks to engage outstanding, diverse and well-qualified teaching and professional services staff to work in our welcoming, intellectually rigorous, liberal and open school.

The School employs approximately 180 teaching staff and over 100 administrative, tuition support, grounds and maintenance staff. All staff work together to provide an environment that facilitates each student’s exploration of their potential, academic progress and personal welfare.

Staff actively promote the education of the whole person, applying their skills and experience to the wide range of activities offered at Pembroke: from the classroom to the sports field, outdoor education, community service, local and international trips, as well as a diverse and comprehensive range of artistic and cultural pursuits. Staff are encouraged to have both a national and international outlook combined with a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement. Staff are encouraged to attend conferences and workshops, participate in internal professional learning forums and leadership programs, and to complete higher degrees. All these activities are well-supported financially by the School. Through the Pembroke Academy, staff as a whole are also supported in their ongoing learning and career development.
